| This 4th and last meeting is devoted to "Access to justice through the efficiency of justice: special reference to practical ways of combating delays in the justice system". Through an in-depth discussion, we will know the current situation in this field, among others: the delays in the judicial system, the excessive workload and case backlogs in courts, the relationship between administration of justice, executive power and judicial power, independence and impartiality of justice as cornerstone for the efficiency of justice, how to improve the management of the justice system, etc. | |

EUROMED Justice II Project The European Commission launched a tender for the implementation of a new programme, the EuroMed Justice II Programme (January 2008 – January 2011). This tender was awarded to the consortium led by the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) and composed of the International and Ibero-American Foundation of Administration and Public Policies (FIIAPP) and of the Spanish General Council of the Judiciary (CGPJ). |
